From dream works productions comes a very surprising tale about growing up, finding the courage to face the unknown…and how nothing can ever train you to let go. What began as an unlikely friendship between an adolescent Viking and a fearsome Night Fury dragon has become an epic adventure spanning their lives. Welcome to one of the most astonishing and one of the most beloved animated franchises in film history: How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. Now chief and ruler of Berk alongside Astrid, Hiccup has created a gloriously chaotic dragon utopia. When the sudden appearance of female Light Fury coincides with the darkest threat their village has ever faced, Hiccup and Toothless must leave the only home they’ve known and journey to a hidden world thought only to exist in myth. As their true destines are revealed, dragon and rider will fight together—to the very ends of the Earth—to protect everything they’ve grown to treasure. For How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, series director Dean DeBlois returns alongside the all-star cast and when we say an all star cast it is literally an all star cast and they did not disappoint at all. It's sad really that it has to end
Having seen the overall plot of the film, its easy to understand why the movie has been a hit and why the last installment is almost perfect if not perfect in each and every way you can think of .
The storyline is a continuation from that of the first installment with very few twist In this final installment and those twist are just what made this last installment probably the best among them all.
The film kicks off with a bang and it continues like that till the end ,it's fast paced, funny with over the top humour which may be bad in some movies but not in this particular one rather its over the top humour alongside it's action and moral lesson teaching story makes the plot great and adds to its uniqueness
Also hiccup is really made to grow up and we see him go through all the emotions and finally the king in him comes out as he also Is made to do what a king does and that is make the decision that favours his people the most.
How to train your dragon is the third in the instalment but in more ways than one it is the first.
The movie really did come into its own in this final installment and it was really a joy, it is meant to bring out all types of emotion from the viewers and judging by my own reaction and that of a whole lot of fans online the movie really succeeded, it brought laughter, tears ,sadness, joy, empathy to almost anyone who has seen it.
Then let me come down to the actions, the fights, the stunts, the graphics ,camera angles, it's just perfect ,everything was just done in its right proportion nothing was excessive but rather they were all done properly and thus it creates a perfect viewing experience.
Let's talk briefly about conflict building and it's resolution, well most of us did not see the ending that we got but that's the beauty of it it was Inch perfect, the conflict was properly built and in the same way it was properly resolved even not if it was the way we wanted but then on looking back you realize that the right decisions were made by all the parties involved and this is not always easy to achieve because alot of times, producers don't take risk with the resolution of conflict rather they always play it safe to avoid backlash from the audience but this was the case here and which is why we got a great movie.
If I was going to rate a movie 10/10 this is the movie but from us here at fca we rate this a 9.5/10 and I highly recommend this movie for everyone, kids and adult alike.
