The passage

Yet another head spinning show from fox network and it's becoming a thing, shows that start out with great promise and then just along the way turns out to be the opposite of what you expected.

This brings us to the show known as the passage which is based on author Justin Cronin trilogy of the same name which is an action based drama revolving around a government project called project Noah which is a dangerous experiment to harvest and control the vampire mutation genes but unfortunately the project goes horribly wrong and the human population faces extinction and our only hope lies in the hands of a little girl.

What a plot, a fresh new take on the vampire storyline and blend it alongside with humanity having to depend on a little girl for survival and you're supposed to have all the tools and ingredients needed to produce a good show and yes we got a good show but not a great show, this show had the potential to be great and it's not even the fault of the actors who were mostly great especially the hero Amy bellafonte played by the beautiful sanniya Sidney. She was a joy to watch in the show.

So yet again fox fails to deliver on the promise of a good show, it's becoming a recurring theme with them. A series starts out great and then it just seems like they changed the writers mud way through the series and you entirely get two different shows entirely.

Yeah and let me just talk about the action since this is supposed to be an action drama series, it was quite good had some good scenes especially when it involves guns, it was great and filled with suspense even though it was kind of blurry due to the darkness of most of those scenes it really became hard to actually identify who was who or who was shooting at who and who was getting bitten by the vampires.

I actually don't know who told directors that this is actually cool, yes throw all of them into a dark tunnel and keep seeing flashes of light, it's never pretty to watch truth be told.

Well there's very little or no character development in this show, and thus the plot failed to really evolve alongside the  characters, it was more like we already knew who the villian was by the first Episode and same we knew who the hero was, there was no twist, no surprise or anything. It was just more like fixed this is what you guys are going to be, they really did not grow into the characters and the flashbacks about the villian did not really do him much justice. We still don't get to see where they lost him and why he is pissed at them.
A better work could have been done in order to create the conflict rather than the conflict already being obvious from the first episode.

Finally the conclusion of the show left me scratching my head, I keep on wondering maybe I skipped like two episodes cause the way they went from episode 8 to episode 9/10 which was the final Episode of the first season was shocking, I still dont understand what happened, have had to re-watch them like twice over and I and still confused but well simply out it was a huge let down.

This is a fox network original

Cast include
Sanniya Sidney
Mark Paul gosselaar
Brianne howey
Emmanuelle chriqui
Vincent piazza
Caroline chikezie

From us at fca it's a 6/10 and this is really sad because this show has the potential to be a 10/10 and we hope that the second season will bring the series to life.
