The Gifted

Here comes the gifted, somewhere among the very extended world of the franchise known as the X-men.
The gifted primarily Is about the world post the X-men,  the show is set in a world without the X-men in it and it's down to the mutant underground to help save all the people with super powers and protect them from sentinel services.
The gifted Is about the struggle all the mutants have to undergo especially the von strucker family who are just ordinary parents who had to take their kids on the run as policies of the government try clamping down on all mutants.
The show is faced on the struggle and hardship that both the mutants and the humans have to each undergo.
As the show develops the characters develop along with it, especially the von strucker kids Lauren and Andy who are the two most gifted mutants in the show.
It's a damn solid plot which honestly makes for great story telling which is what we have gotten from the first season and four episodes of season two.
I just can't talk enough about the plot of the show because it's just wow. Most times not much thought is put into super hero shows because the writers and the creative team always feels that the audience will accept it as long as there is enough action, we see this happening in arrow, supergirl, iron fist season two, and a whole lot of super hero movies such as Thor raganork, doctor strange , justice league, I could go on and on and I guess you already get my drift.
So it's very refreshing when you get to see  a super hero show that much thought is given into developing the plot and giving lot of thought into trying to get us not just a regular super hero series but a great series which will keep you intrigued and hooked.

Down to the cast and the acting, the cast really sold their parts and it was quite great to see, like each character was honesty meant for the role they were given and each of them really delivered on the promise of the show. Even the slow burners like Lauren strucker who really was not into the part, the longer the show went on the more you could see her as the ideal cast for the said Role and she has really come into her own.
The creative team really gets a thumb up for a good show which has everything you need such as action ,drama, romance, intrigue, suspense , great choreography and so on.
Watching the show you really can't fault it in any way unless you want to talk about he fact that the fighting has not really been much but this is not really such a big deal in itself because the show makes up for this with a whole lot of other stuffs.
From us here at FCA its a solid 8.5 / 10 for a show that has really delivered on its promise.
The general consensus on this show is that it has really carved out a niche for itself in the world of the X-men and it has got us tuning into it to see what happens. I really do recommend this show for all age brackets like its one that can be enjoyed by everyone.
