Jack Ryan

Jack Ryan, well finally after all the movie adaptations we get to have a series adaptation. For most book lovers we are very familiar and In love with Tom Clancys jack Ryan which was a New York Times best seller and simply put a terrific read.  So when I heard there was finally going to be a series adaptation I kept my  fingers crossed and waited to see who will be casted as Jack Ryan and yes we got john krasinski who I happen to be a fan of.

Now talking about Jack Ryan it is simply about an up coning CIA analyst who was formerly a marine and had his share of demons from his time at Afghanistan,  the show follows his life from an ordinary analyst to becoming a leader of a task force tasked with defeating a very smart and powerful terrorist who does not follow all the Norms associated with terrorist.

Talking about the show itself the first season had eight episodes which seems like the new cool with most TV shows and I actually think it's better cause no one wants to see any more 22/23 episodes of a single season it's way too long and annoying. So on that aspect they were spot on.

Going on to the plot of the show itself ,the valid question to be asked did the plot really get to develop as the storyline progressed,  well the answer is in the affirmative because basically it's about the life of Jack Ryan and the villain who is the terrorist , they both undergo alot of changes right before our eyes from one episode to the next. In the case of Jack Ryan we see him go from the simple desk analyst who has a lot of demons he is dealing with to a bad ass operative who can deal with whatever he is faced with and this he does with the help of his colleagues. While on the Part of the villain who is played by Ali sulaiman, he goes from being a very cool headed person who operates on a level that is really amazing to a hot head and desperate prototype terrorist who has lost it all , it was really interesting watching the conflict the both characters had to go through to get to their final destination.
I just briefly want to talk about the casting and the acting by the said cast, well really nothing much to be said except that it was top knotch.

Now all these being said I still have just one issue with the show  it just did not have the it factor like I can't place my hands on it but it just lacked that extra little thing that takes a show from being a solid show to being a great show but well I hope it's just for season one and that season two comes through on the promise of this show.
From us at FCA its a solid season one and we rare It a 7.5/ 10 and I really recommend it for everyone as you could enjoy it and yes the make out scenes are quite steamy and cool well just for that alone the rating goes up to 8/10 Yes I just added it you disagree talk to me in the comment sections.
