Uncle drew

uncle drew is finally out and yes I did shout cause I was hooked just from the Pepsi advert and then I saw the movie and I was quite satisfied though it could have been better.
Uncle drew is a basketball comedy movie about uncle drew a myth and a legend who was once said to be the greatest ever basket ball player and who disappeared with his team after a no show in the street ball tournament final back in the days and dax a junior team basketball coach who after  draining his life savings to enter a team in the Rucker Classic street ball tournament in Harlem, Dax (Lil Rel Howery) is dealt a series of unfortunate setbacks, including losing his team to his longtime rival (Nick Kroll). Desperate to win the tournament and the cash prize, Dax stumbles upon the man, the myth, the legend UNCLE DREW (NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving) and convinces him to return to the court one more time. The two men embark on a road trip to round up Drew's old basketball squad (Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller, Nate Robinson, and Lisa Leslie) and prove that a group of septuagenarians can still win the big one.
Since we are past the general plot of the movie let's actually get down to it, this is simply another sports Comedy movie and we have seen quite a lot in the past such as juwanna man, coach Carter, like Mike, space jump etc. All which are about basketball and other things involved in the life of the athletes. 
Let me just get down to the stuffs I like about the movie, it's a fun movie it actually had me cracked up quite a bit with the jokes and other insinuations in the movie. 
It's quite light hearted and coukd actually be termed goofy for most part of it and they actually get away with a lot of otherwise controversial statement which outside the goofy nature of the movie would have caused a stir.
Again the movie made a good use of effects to achieve the transformation of the actors and they were a great sight to see I could not even recognise a host of basketball stars I actually know, I had to wait until the movie ended to actually know who played what role in the movie, thumbs up to the effects director in the movie.
And yes using actual basket ball players to actually act a basketball movie making the moves and shots in the movie way much more believable and have a semblance of reality to them. It was always annoying watching a basketball movie and knowing that most of the moves and shots done in the movie were fake and edited.
Generally the uncle drew movie had a lot of positives going for it and it is really an enjoyable movie to just watch and laugh and enjoy some good basketball movies by one of the best hoppers in the NBA TV the man himself Kyrie Irving.
The things I don't like are not much except the fact that they really took no risk in the movie, it was just a basic movie with a very simple storyline, I guess they just were not ready for any backlash so they just took the easier option and put out a simple movie without complications 

 Well simply put the movie came across as quite a good movie and funny enough the acting by the players was quite good they actually left me impressed and I expect more from Kyrie Irving in the future hopefully.
I honestly recommend the movie to everyone, it's fun, goofy, nice and just enjoyable with a lot if fun scenes especially the dance off in the club was quite funny to watch.
