The Originals

The originals finally came to a close after five seasons and what more can I say that has not been said already about this series.
The originals is probably the best spin off series I have come across in my whole time of  Watching tv shows and that is saying a lot because I have seen quite a lot of spin off. Originals has been so good that a lot of viewers rate it higher than the original series it originated from which is the Vampire Diaries.
Getting down to it the originals plot is simply about Klaus the original vampire/werewolf hybrid,who returns to New Orleans - which his family helped build - to investigate rumours of a plot against him, in this spin-off of `The Vampire Diaries'. He finds his former protege, Marcel, reigning powerful over its inhabitants, causing growing tension in the supernatural community. Klaus' brother, Elijah, joins him, and they learn that werewolf Hayley has fallen into the hands of a defiant witch who has life-changing information. Klaus and Elijah plan to reclaim the city, and while waiting to see if their last remaining sibling, Rebekah, will leave Mystic Falls to join them, they form an alliance with the witches to help further their cause and the story continues from there to the point we are introduced to the miracle baby hope
Generally the originals delivered on all its promises to be a great series, nice storyline, good acting, awesome fight scenes, gruesome death, suspense, intrigue, romance, betrayal, trust, family, love, hate, revenge, loyalty, guilt etc. The list is endless like literally endless, there is nothing that this show did not have this is probably the best vampire /werewolf series ever.
Let's just briefly look at each of the seasons individually starting with Season One. 
Season one got off to a slow start and gradually developed into a good not a great season at this point I was actually expecting nothing really from this show except the fact that I loved the character known as Nick Klaus the first hybrid who was portrayed as an egotistical mad man with a whole lot of trust issues, he literally knifes his siblings in the heart and keeps them locked up for years till he is okay with releasing them.
Push forward to season two the show really kicks off and Yes in my opinion season two is really the best out of all the five seasons of the show like it had the best fight scenes and every other thing needed to make the seasons great,betrayals and so on. 
Season three was very good just continued with the story line from season two and kept with it the miracle baby is finally here and all the sacrifices the family has to make for her sake especially the father.
Season four was solid miracle baby hope is not so little anymore or helpless at all she gets to meet her father. The central theme of the fourth season generally revolves around what a father can do for his child Which came to a climax in season five the final season of the show. Klaus ends up dying to protect his one the legacy of the mikealson family and Elijah Also dies to fulfill his promise of always and forever to Nick Klaus. 
Now let's get down to the it The Originals really was a great series better than the Vampire Diaries my opinion though. CW network really struck gold with this series which is why we will be getting another spin off called legacies which will air starting in October I can't wait for that and yes Jeremy from vampire Diaries will be back in that series and I just can't wait to really see it October Please be here already. 
For five seasons we were kept intrigued by a nice storyline which was not deviated from we got to see a whole lot of other stories but it always linked up with the main story at one point or another. 
We saw the main character Klaus evolve right before our eyes, we got to see why he was  the way he was portrayed in the show, his fears,his dreams, his hope like we were really made to live his life and see that life is not always white and black that there really is a middle line which is grey. 
And yes did I see the ending not in a million years I never got once expected it to end that way but looking back now it probably was the best ending the show could have gotten owing to the fact that the new spin-off will be exclusively about hope and how she survives without her father. 
This was a solid show that delivered on all of its promises this was a solid 8.5/10 I won't give it a ten because really some of us felt that it was a dream too long season two -four would have been made into two seasons rather than three seasons which is the fault I have with the show in total.
Their casting was so on point they literally gave each character the person most suited for the role. 
CW network really came through with a great series here big shout out to them.
We are eagerly anticipating the first season of legacy please. 🙋
