Night school

Teddy Walker is a successful salesman whose career takes a turn for the worse after he accidentally blows up his work place,  he is now forced to go and get his ged in other to enable him get a new job and move on with his life. So he secretly attends night school with some other misfits who are all going through midlife crisis.
Well here we go again it's another one from Kevin Hart and it's just like most of his other movies except that this is not really that good at all.

I can't even begin to understand or wrap my head around how disappointed I was after I saw night school because first of all the cast was great. Tiffany Hadish and Kevin Hart is a comedy dream so one would expect that it will absolutely be a hit but what we got was obviously one of the worst movies that they have both featured in.

The movie is actually funny, you can't have that cast and not get a good laugh but that is all we got, few laughs and nothing else.

The movie lacked substance and content, just few good scenes that had you laughing and then that was it.

Even the ending was botched like nothing came out right in this movie.

Like how do you waste Tiffany haddish in a movie, well she was In night school, she was literally not giving anything to work with and it was obvious, watching her struggle was quite painful and it was more painful because we know how good she can actually be when allowed to just be herself.

And coming to Kevin Hart, it's tiring seeing him do the same thing over and over again, his movies are all becoming way too familiar and predictable. He is talented so most times he pulls it off but not this time around. All we are asking is that Kevin Hart should challenge himself and do something outside his comfort zone and work with a new director that will challenge him to really prove himself. He has really gotten way too comfortable doing the same type of movie time and time again which is the major criticism that taraji p Henson gets every single time, its high time that the same is said about Kevin Hart.

The main reason that am ranting is because the cast of this movie should never have been wasted and reduced to working with such a poor script. The movie saw no single plot or character development and it was quite painful becaise we never getting back the time spent watching this movie.

In summary what we got was a great cast that was wasted in a movie that lacked substance and content that just had a few good laugh scenes and yes Kevin Hart in his comfort zone.
It's a 5/10 from us here at fca.
