Yes the action movie franchise mission impossible is back with the sixth installment and just maybe the best of them all, a summer block buster that defies all the things we have come to associate with summer block busters.
Getting down to it the plot of the movie is quite simple Ethan hunt and the imf team join forces with CIA assassin August Walker to prevent a disaster of epic proportions. Arms dealer John lark and a group of terrorist known as the terrorist plan to use three plutonium cores for a simultaneous nuclear attack on the Vatican, Jerusalem, and mecca (Saudi Arabia). Ethan and his crew find themselves in a desperate race against time to prevent the weapons from falling into the wrong hands.
A very simple plot when you look at it on fave value but trust me if you as much miss a dialogue in the movie you will find yourself lost as to what was happening and who was who due to all the sub plots of the movie. Again this is majorly the most noticeable time in the franchise that the story has continued from the last installment so I would advise you to watch rogue nation before you watch this.
As I stated earlier you just have to pay attention to every single sequence and dialogues in this movie as each is really significant which is not always the case in most action movies.
Lets talk about Christopher Mcquarrie who happens to be the director of the movie and also he directed rogue nation thus making it the first time that a director has done Two mission impossible movies, normally it's always been a new director for each of the movie but please give me more of Christopher Mcquarrie anyday and I hope that DC saw what he can do please sign him up ASAP. He did a terrific work here it cant be overstated because what we got was a movie that had a plot,laid out direction and A great end product simply put the movie was the best version it could have been nothing less.
It's an action movie and it won't be an action movie without action and damn it delivered great fight scenes, stunts and action sequences probably some of the best action Scenes I have seen this year and I have seen quite alot. Just to make you notice when you finally get to watch the movie watch out for the fight scene in the Bathroom that had Ethan hunt, August Walker and a host of other people the scene left me looking like what did I just see, the blows felt so real I could feel it and then probably my best part the helicopter fight left to me that should have never ended it was that good. In short the movie had action sequences that were meticulously planned and executed perfectly.
The acting was top knotch also ranging from toTom Cruise who starred as Ethan hunt and for the doubters every stunt you saw him pull off was real it was done by him and not a stunt double like who does that well Tom Cruise obviously.
Henry cavill finally shows us what we already know that he is a good actor and could be great with the right people around him again I hope dc is taking note, he really came to life in this movie and holds his own against all the other actors in the movie. Generally most of not all the actors in the movie were okay if not great in it.
The movie is simply the best version of itself and that says alot,if you ask me this here is the best of all the installment of the franchise mission impossible my humble opinion and we'll currently box office seems to agree with me on this.
