The 72nd ANNUAL TONY AWARDS:  FROM SCREEN TO STAGE

If you are a die -hard fan of the Greatest Showman, then you would wish the musical was up for nominations for best choreography in a musical, best musical and your man crush Hugh Jackman bagging the best lead actor in a musical;  but if wishes were horses, right?  LOL!

The 72nd Annual Tony Awards was held on the 10th of June,2018 at the Radio City Music Hall in New York. Pop stars turned Broadway sweethearts Josh Groban and Sara Baraeilles co- hosted theather biggest night at the Radio Hall. The theme for this years’ Tony awards was from screen to stage; many of the awards given were based on Hit movies.

Mean Girls and SpongeBob SquarePants earned 12 nominations each and the Band Visit had a total of 10 awards including best musical, best actor in a musical, best actress in a musical, best book of a musical and so much more!
