Magnum P. I

yet another mode review of an ongoing series that is still in season one and yet to be completed. Well I won't waste time on this cause there really isnt much to say about it.
This is a remake of the classic from 1980-1988 which was a hit back then and had Tom selleck as magnum back then.
Magnum P. I is a series about magnum a former navy seal who after his tours with his friends came back and became a private investigator thus the name of the show magnum p.i.
Basically it's just a show that has most things like drama, action, comedy, and what have you. There is no major storyline so far in the series and we are seven episodes into the first season already and nothing has developed so far.  All we have is just each episode bringing a new adventure and mystery which is usually concluded by the end of that episode and unto next one.
There has been no continuity whatsoever as to storyline well except the obvious romance that looks like it will happen between magnum and Juliet Higgins who is in charge of the estate of masters where magnum is leaving as chief security consultant.
Well I think and a lot of reviews on line and critics seem to agree with me that the only reason it's getting any following at all is for to its cast which is actually good and I was suprised by that truth be told. So far it's been very solid acting by Jay Hernandez who plays the part of magnum and peredita weeks who plays Juliet Higgins and the rest of the cast has been okay.
So simply put the rebooted magnum may not be quite distinctive enough to hold up to comparison to its source material but a charismatic star,  slickly staged action, and a lot of modern twist hint at very great potential for a whole lot better as the show progresses.

So overall it's not been a great series but the funny thing is that it's actually One of those shows that you keep complaining about but you keep on Watching it with the hope that Actually gets better as it progresses and so from us at FCA its a 5/10  it could have been lower but it's still a fun show to watch. 

This is from the stable of CBS network and we hope for a lot more in the next episodes and season that is if it gets a next season by the way which I dont think it will but I have been wrong a number of times.
