An appraisal of the the justice league. Was it really that bad?

I honestly counted down to the release date of the movie called justice league. I am a dc fan boy, I grew up idolizing Superman and batman they were the goats in my view I did not entertain any arguments as to the best franchise I always maintained my stand and maybe I still do which is why it is so painful to watch the DC universe continuously make one bad sequel after another.
There was man of steel,  then the sequel to that and then out of the blue came batman vs Superman (dawn of justice)  which was a terrible movie on all fronts. From the movie being too long to downplaying Superman,  and then to the dialogue in the movie I honestly thought it was the worst the directors and script writer could come up with but then I was in for the shocker of my life when I saw the justice league in cinema.
Already before the movie was released there were already signs that it was going to be bad but nothing pointed to it being how bad it was. I went to the cinemas and saw the movie, I was left disappointed to say the least, please if you are a dc fan boy please this article is not for you simply because of your bias for our beloved franchise.
Let's briefly just look at some of the places that they got the movie wrong:
Direction and production: Zack Snyder it's been one too many, the same issue I always have with his super hero movies they are too serious and lack the element of excitement that should follow a super hero movie, it is not a horror movie or a thriller it is supposed to be fun,  entertaining, captivating and a little bit intriguing but the reverse is the complete opposite. Sighs * takes a deep breathe going on from that why will you change directors mid way into production of you wanted just start afresh and postpone the release date It serves no purpose mixing the creative work of two different people with different ideologies and then at the end of it give us a movie that is neither here nor there we end up having to grim all serious sections of the movie obviously Zack Snyder and the humour and less serious sections of the movie which is Joss Whedon thus making the theme of the movie inconsistent.
Secondly won't spend much time on this the editing of the movie and cutting out of scenes, it has never and will never be a good idea to cut out scenes against the wish I'd the director,  what you get afterwards are host of incoherent scenes that to not lead into one another and leaves the viewers confused as to what just happened, this happened alot in the movie and also in BVS. P. S ask the executive director of dc what he was thinking.
The next fault in the movie was the dialogue, WTF the script was terrible mad poorly written anyone that watched the movie noticed this.
A major flaw is the character build up, due to the fact that dc are kind of playing catch up to their rivals marvel who are leagues ahead of them, they kind of rushed into making the justice league as an answer to marvel avengers rather than gradually release the solo movies of most of the characters, by not doing this the viewers really fail to appreciate each of the characters excluding Superman. Batman and the wonder Woman. This is a major flaw which they should avoid,  hopefully we get to see the solo movies of aqua man which is slated for later this year and also the flash and it's hightime a new batman is due for screening.
Too much CGI,  too much effects can kill a movie and we obviously saw it with this movie and who ever that designed stepenwolf really has a lot to answer for, he really does,  that has to be the lamest villain I ever saw since Superman 4  way back before a lot of advancement in the movie industry.
I will kindly give the movie a 4.5/10
I am still crying for my favourite Franchise hoping they get it right and for once play up Superman to be the strongest super hero we know him to be Please. I just choose not to talk about the casting and acting of Ben Affleck and gal gadot
